QDL handles all standard tasks of a shipping company during vessel inward and outward sailings, as well as during berthing at ports, including bunkering, ship supply services, terminal facilities, and inspection.

Port Agency services are available at Karachi Old Port and Port Qasim, where QDL staff provides 24/7 services to ships, their officers, and crew. Ports and Customs documentation is professionally arranged in a timely manner.

Chartering: The chartering of commercial vessels is an important requirement in the Maritime Sector. QDL engages Tramp Operators to serve Shippers from public sectors, Industrial & Agro Commodity Bulk Suppliers through charter party contracts. The chartering is carried out on both time charter and voyage charter basis for Break-bulk, Neo-bulk, Raw Materials including Urea, Rock Phosphate, Minerals, as well as Heavy/Oversized cargoes.

Consolidation & Break-bulk: Consolidation provides customers with cost-effective movement of LCL shipments. QDL’s strength lies in combining small (LCL) shipments into full container loads (FCL). The service is based on Scheduled Carriers with regular sailings to/from Pakistan. The stuffing takes place at CFS yards, where cargo is brought, stuffed into containers, and then boarded onto vessels in a timely manner, considering delivery time frames. The Port Operations Staff ensures a smooth handover to carriers, as well as Break-bulking, and facilitates customs clearance. QDL issues House B/L on a port-to-port or door-to-door basis as per Seller/Buyer requirements. Pre-carriage and On-carriage arrangements are well-coordinated through overseas Associates for prompt dispatch and distribution.
